(Review) Gurgle Baby Milestones

Posted on November 15, 2011February 27, 2025 by jenny

As a first time mum not too many months ago I meticulously recorded everything Edward did on paper and through his online blog. I also used the electronic baby journal WellStart but to be honest didn’t find it very easy to use and quickly abandoned it. So I was really happy to hear about Gurgle Baby Milestones which is a major development of WellStart, still very recognisable but with a lot of great improvements. With the imminent arrival of Second Baby I was delighted to be asked to try it out.

The software is simple to install and allows you to input basic information about your pregnancy (whatever stage you are at) as well as information about any existing children.

Gurgle Baby Milestones  claims: As your baby grows, you can capture all those priceless memories with notes, photos, videos as well as reminders to help you spot and record all your baby’s developmental achievements. The Baby Milestones software is aimed at modern mums and dads who not only love to be informed about their baby’s development, but also relish looking back on all the baby memories you’ll collect as your children grow.

The software is secure as all the information is stored on your own computer, contains expert information by family doctors and comes with a handy development reminder tab which prompts you to update certain milestones and also links to new features on the Gurgle website. I enjoy using and updating it and can’t wait to see the app which is coming soon. I think the app will be a great addition as I know I will have limited time to be sitting in front of my laptop when Second Baby arrives.

Available for Mac and PC. RRP £14.99

Disclosure: a copy of Gurgle Baby Milestones was provided for the purpose of this review
