Gee up horsey!

Gee up horsey! Do you remember all the words of the lovely nursery rhyme? It’s a great one to teach your children and I know the perfect toy to go with it – the wooden Shetland Rocking Horse from Pintoy – which we were kindly sent by When I Was A Kid to review.

This is a lovely wooden toy, very simply decorated and has been designed to grow with your child. My son loves it as it’s the perfect seat for watching tv. Take a look at this short film of Edward sitting on the horse.

Can you tell I’m sitting between him and the tv?

Essential facts about the rocking horse:

  • traditional wooden toy
  • the side and back safety harnesses are fully removable
  • rubber stoppers on the rockers provide a safe rock
  • painted in non-toxic paint
  • suitable from 12 months

When I Was A Kid is a great online shop which aims to deliver your childhood memories in a box! They sell traditional toyswooden toys, wooden games and classic toys that will last for years rather than weeks.

This is a great toy to start off your very own rocking horse stable!
