Review and giveaway: Fade Out cream

Posted on July 29, 2011March 8, 2012 by jenny

*****The competition has now closed and the winner notified*****

An advanced range of affordable mass market skincare products to visibly brighten, even-out skin tone and restore a youthful, natural radiance are about to go on sale on beauty counters nationwide. This “must-use” range with exceptional credentials includes Niacinamide and powerful active naturals such as mulberry and liquorice to offer visible results in as little as four weeks.

Set to give premium counterparts a run for their money, cult beauty favourite, Fade Out has had a luxurious facelift and the range now boasts an advanced formula to help women (and men) solve and prevent pigmentation problems such as hyperpigmentation, freckles, age spots and sun spots, and achieve a flawless, youthful glow in 3 targeted ways: prevention, correction and future defence.

I have been using the Original Moisturising Cream for the last few weeks. I really like the packaging (I like my products to look nice in the bathroom!), it also smells yummy and has a great consistency when applied. I use it on my face every morning and it has made a huge difference to my poor puffy pregnant face, especially whilst we were on holiday and I was spending lots of time outdoors.

Giveaway:

Do you fancy trying it for yourself? Readers of the gingerbread house have been offered the chance to win a Fade Out Protecting Day Cream, Fade Out Nourishing Night Cream and an Anti-Shadow Brightening Eye Cream.

To enter:

Simply leave me a comment below telling me why you would like to try the products.

For additional entries (please leave separate comments for each action):

  • Follow my blog on Google Friends Connect
  • Tweet “I’m in to win beauty products with @gingerbread_mum” or use the retweet button below
  • Leave a comment on a non competition post (let me know which one you commented on)

This giveaway will close 7th August 2011 at midnight and is open to UK residents only. The winner will be chosen at random and contacted using the email address or twitter name supplied. If the winner does not reply within 3 days the competition will be redrawn. Good luck!

I’d love to try this as although I am young & look after my skin I have always had dark circles under my eyes & an uneven skintone. I have tried so many products but I can’t afford expensive creams that may not even be effective.

Last year I was widowed for the second time. At the age of 41, I’m too old to be single but too young to be alone for the rest of my life. I think I have aged rapidly this year (hardly surprising considering all that’s happened) so apart from a miracle or a large brown paper bag, I need something to improve my appearance!

I’ve just come back to the UK after 3 years in the post-apocalyptic hellscape that is Beijing – where the smog is so bad that half the time I can’t see across the street and it has done wonders for my skin*.

*not really. It dehydrates in the winter to the point my face aches after a shower and either that or the fact I’m three years older the pollution is giving me…. wrinkles. I need something to fix my FACE.

I have had HORRID black eye shadows since having chemotherapy. My hair has come back and I’m more or less back to normal but the black rings just won’t go away! I’ve tried everything under the sun to get rid of them and have resorted to covering them up,. It hides the dark rings, but not the puffy bags. I would love to try the fade out products and see if they help!

Even skintone? Is there such a thing? I’ve had freckles ever since I can remember. As a teenager I tried lemon juice (ouch), scrubbing with an emery board (double ouch) and covering with foundation (ridiculous & sticky when it’s hot).
This sounds much more sensible. Although to fade out the freckles could take some doing! @piperanddaisy
