George & Hollie and the Magic Carry Potties

Amanda Jenner, the lady behind the My Carry Potty, has just written her first children’s story book which is designed to help parents and their children take the stress out of potty training. The book, ‘George & Hollie and the Magic Carry Potties’, includes a reward chart and stickers.

Although Edward is a little young to start potty training I feel it is our next big step and want to be prepared as much as possible! I will happily read anything and everything on the subject to make sure we tackle it properly. We’ve read through the book a couple of times and enjoyed reading the simple story together.

According to the My Carry Potty website you know your child is ready to start potty training if:

  • Watch for signs that your child is aware they need to go
  • Your child has stayed dry for a couple of hours
  • Your child lets you know that their nappy is soiled

The book will be a great help to encourage interest in the potty and the equipment needed. I like the idea of going shopping for a potty and some grown up pants when the time is right 🙂
