Review: Nappy Balm from Baby Sensory

We have a collection of nappy balms in different tubes and jars. We’re really fortunate that Edward doesn’t often suffer from nappy rash, only when he has a new tooth coming through or if he has an upset tummy.

We were sent a new Nappy Balm from Baby Sensory to try. It’s not just a nappy balm but as it’s Hypoallergenic, free from essential oils and SLS, it can also be used during pregnancy and for the whole family.

Ingredients include:

  • Sunflower seed oil moisturises the skin and provides a protective barrier that resists infection
  • Castor oil cleans and softens broken or rough skin and improves acne
  • Olive oil promotes elasticity and disrupts the harmful effects of environmental pollutants that damage the skin
  • Cocoa butter acts as an antiseptic agent to protect skin from eczema and rashes
  • Beeswax has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, skin-softening and elasticity enhancing properties

I’ve tried the nappy balm on both Edward and my pregnant self and it leaves skin soft and smooth. I think that the packaging is a bit plain and the name doesn’t explain what it is as it’s more than a nappy balm but it’s a great balm. It comes in a 50ml tub and is priced at £5.99, available from the Baby Sensory website.

Baby skin is very sensitive and delicate. Always keeping clean is the hard one to achieve. There are instance that too much exposure lead allergies and skin problem. I’m glad this review is helpful for all mothers to ease worries on how to protect their kids from skin problems.
