I’ve been tagged by Cheryl to reveal 7 things about myself.
1. I once served Michael Buerk canapes. It was at a fundraising event at the Royal Albert Hall and the highlight of my evening 🙂
2. History has always been my greatest passion and I studied Ancient History and Archaeology followed by Museum Studies at Uni. Before maternity leave I was found looking after bedpans, medals and uniform in the role of curator for an NGO.
3. I have an unhealthy obsession with Orla Kiely handbags, bedding and stationary. I work in the City and used to see Orla Kiely handbags everywhere. I received my first one from my husband a few years ago and never looked back. I’m hoping one day I’ll have a daughter just so I can pass on my Orla Kiely collection.
4. I also have a much smaller Blythe obsession. I have one Blythe doll – Save The Animals. She has a larger wardrobe than me!
5. I have 2 cats but I love dogs. We always had Airedales when I was growing up. They are the loveliest dogs and we named them after herbs: Sorrel, Bettony and Saffron. My husband loves cats so we’ve compromised until the day one of us is at home all day to look after a dog.
6. I grew up on the Isle of Wight and went to the University of St Andrews. Geographically poles apart but both beautiful places and hold perfect memories to me.
7. We honeymooned in Scandinavia in October, it was cold and rained a lot. All of our photos show us in layers of clothing, waterproofs, hats and gloves but we had the most amazing time.
