i-SPY books

Win 2 i-SPY activity books for kids

Posted on July 27, 2016July 27, 2016 by jenny

Do you remember the i-SPY books? I had a few when I was little and loved looking through them, ticking things off as I spotted them. The books have been around for 60 years andย I’m pleased to say that HarperCollins have recently relaunched the series and they’re better than ever. You can still collect points to send off for a certificate!

If you haven’t heard of them before, then each i-SPY activity book encourages children to discover the world around them. With photographs of each feature to look out for, and details of where to spot them, it wonโ€™t be long before they have enough points to claim their very own certificate. The range include books for spotting whilst you are travelling, spotting nature at home and on holiday, as well as spotting your favourite things.

We received i-SPY On a car journey and i-SPY In the countryside. I carry them around in my handbag and they are great for keeping the children occupied on journeys. The books are pocket sized and each priced ยฃ2.99.

i-SPY books

i-SPY On a Car Journey includes hundreds of features to look out for on speedy motorways, winding country roads, and in towns and villages; from road works and coaches to sparrows and birches.

i-SPY In the Countryside includes hundreds of living things of all shapes and sizes; from centipedes and Ladybirds to oak leaves and acorns.

Each book contains up to 200 fun things to spot around you, you can tick it off when you see it and score points for each spot and send off for your official i-SPY certificate. These are the perfect pocket money treat to keep children occupied on long journeys, to help foster an interest in the great outdoors and also a great low-tech alternative to an iPad.
