Earlier this month we were invited to spend a morning at KidZania London which is based at Westfield London Shopping Centre. KidZania is a city for 4-14 year olds with more than 60 real life, ever changing, role play adventures and they’ve just turned 1!
It’s a brilliant day out for kids, blending learning and reality with entertainment. Your experience lasts for 4 hours and is a unique role-play experience where kids learn financial literacy, careers, teamwork, independence and real-life skills. My children are 4 and 6 are loved every second on their experience. It’s kids only for all of the activities so I was able to sit back and relax knowing they were in a safe environment, having fun but learning too. When you enter KidZania you are given Kidzo’s to spend but you can earn more via the activities. You can set up a Bank account or spend your Kidzo’s having more fun. Each experience lasts 4 hours but you certainly won’t get to try everything which is why my kids can’t wait to go back soon!
KidZania is a really fun experience. It gives children the chance to get stuck in with real-life jobs – such as emergency services and shop assistant; to work together in teams and independently; to educate children on the value of money as well as the value of working and having fun.
