Win a bundle of children’s books from Stripes Publishing

Posted on June 23, 2019July 14, 2019 by jenny

With the Summer holidays looming, now is a great time to stock up on books for your children. Reading is a great way to stop the dreaded Summer Drain Brain and a great way to keep kids learning over the holidays. I was recently sent a bundle of books for young readers from Stripes Publishing. Read on for your chance to win a set of the three books detailed below.

Win a bundle of children’s books from Stripes Publishing

Vlad the World’s Worst Vampire by Anna Wilson

In this latest instalment, Vlad finally has hit Bat Licence, but his mother still thinks he’s a rubbish vampire because he doesn’t have super-strength. Can Vlad prove he has other skills that are just as good – or will be he be sent to the Black Tower? If only he could show her how funny he is in the school play with Minxie. But he has to keep his human friends a secret from his parents, and being a vampire secret from the humans. Then, when he suddenly turns into a bat at school, all his secrets are revealed …

Vlad the World’s Worst Vampire series is an original twist on the school experience, introducing younger children to the joys of human school. Perfect for fans of The Nothing to See Here Hotel and the Baby Aliens series.

Little Lion Rescue by Rachel Delahaye

What starts out as a school trip to the zoo for Fliss and her classmates ends up being the adventure of a lifetime when Fliss is magically whisked away to the Serengeti. There she finds a little lost lion cub, separated from its family, and Fliss is determined to reunite them. After all, Fliss loves animals and will do anything to save them. But with only a bottle of water, half a sandwich and her instinct to guide her across the plains, is she ready to face the wild?

This brand new series follows Fliss on her adventures to save wild animals in danger. Perfect for emerging chapter book readers and fans of Zoe’s Rescue Zoo series and Andy’s Baby Animals on CBeebies.

Dirty Bertie: Spider by David Roberts

Dirty Bertie, the boy with nose-pickingly disgusting habits, is back for another dose of comic chaos in Spider! Join Bertie in his latest adventure as he shocks and amazes his classmates with his huge pet spider, is tricked into wearing one of Gran’s knitted horrors to school, and finds nothing by trouble when he digs for treasure at the park…

With three stories in each book and illustrated throughout, this series is perfect for newly independent and reluctant readers. Perfect for fans of Horrid Henry and Wrigglesbottom Primary.
