Win a Superhero bedroom party for sharing your child’s Superhero stories

Posted on June 5, 2014October 25, 2024 by jenny

My 4 year old has developed a sudden obsession with Spiderman and other superheroes. I blame the Marvel Kinder Eggs he’s been collecting and the Lego set he bought recently. I was excited to hear about an exciting partnership inspired by Spider-Man, the Philips Marvel Spider-Man range which inspires little heroes’ creativity, projecting a world of light around them to make playtime more vivid.  Come bedtime, Spider-Man helps kids feel safe and sound by comforting them with a touch of light throughout the night, when it’s needed most.

Some of my favourite products are –

the Wall light Spider-Man: give every day light a super hero spin. Fixed to the wall and featuring Spider-Man images, these wall lights provide fun and warm, white, quality LED light day to day

the Table light Spiderman: make your child’s room fit for a crime fighter with this lampshade that adds ambiance and adventure

the Night light Spider-Man: make them feel secure with this Super Hero light:  comforting light when it’s needed controlled by a motion sensor that automatically turns the light on if they wake.  A daylight sensor conserves energy for when it’s needed, and easy installation makes it flexible to move around their hero’s cave

Philips Marvel Spiderman lights

Big Brother was sent the Table light Spiderman which he loves. His room has recently been re-decorated so this is a great addition. He dislikes going to sleep in the dark so now he’s much happier at bedtime.

As part of this new spider-man range, Philips is running a competition to win a Philips Marvel prize (competition closes on June 9th). Entries simply need to tell them about their child’s amazing super powers and make-believe world on the Philips Facebook page for a chance to win!

1st prize: The first place prize will be a super hero bedroom party (along with costumes!) where the winning child’s bedroom will be transformed by light in to a magical world fit for a hero. The winning entry will also be animated in the style of Marvel comic book illustrations.

2nd Prize: Twenty 2nd prize winners will receive a Philips Marvel Spider-Man light.

3rd prize: Ten 3rd prize winners will win a Spider-Man bedroom poster.

Do your little ones like Spider-Man or any other Super heroes? Do your children wish they had amazing super powers? I wish my children had the power to eat their dinner up without making a mess!

What a great prize 🙂 My son’s too old now for a superhero bedroom party but I’ll share in case any of my friends or family want to enter.

Baby is a bit too young yet, but I wish she had the super power to not scream for a whole day x

Our little one is having trouble with light at the moment and this looks perfect as he is just starting to ask about Superheroes. What a great competition too x

This is a fab prize, my eldest is too old and the twins too young but I’m sure they’ll be a super hero duet when bigger x

My son used to love Spiderman too when he was little. He even used to draw webs on his arms in felt tip pen to make himself more like his hero!

These lights look great for children into their heros. A great addition to any bedtime. Lovely post. My daughters heros take the shape of princesses at the moment 🙂

My son love superman and Spider-Man. Is there anything better than flying round the room like superman the shooting a web out of your wrist to climb up like Spider-Man?
