To the amusement of their adult children and friends, long divorced couple Don and Ellie Griffin (De Niro and Keaton) are once again forced to play the happy couple for the sake of their adopted son Alejandro’s wedding after his ultra conservative biological mother unexpectedly decides to fly halfway across the world from Colombia to attend. With all of the wedding guests looking on, the Griffins are hilariously forced to confront their past, present and future – and hopefully avoid killing each other in the process.

I really enjoyed watching this film. I loved the characters, as well as the actors playing them. The storyline is funny with some brilliant laugh out loud moments. The Big Wedding is out on Blu-ray, DVD and download from 14th October.

  32. Anyone not familiar with the movie [i.e. you haven’t seen it yet] should be advised that this is a hard-R rating. This is suitable for adults, who are prepared for lots of inappropriate content – the trailer does not even suggest what you will be seeing. It is NOT a family-friendly flick, if you family has little ones. [Our grown kids would be embarassed to view it in the same room as one another, much less us.] Just sayin’… because I’m sure plenty of people will find it entertaining… it needs to come with a caveat.
