Each drawing starts with easy, geometric shapes and simple guide lines, and the dogs are drawn in a variety of poses that typify the particular breed. Each drawing includes a helpful colour palette so readers can easily find the right colours to finish their drawing. There are even instructions for adding simple details to give each creature its own personality.

  16. A pug! Which is what I was hoping for as my son is obsessed with dogs in general, but pugs are his absolute favourite. I can’t even guess how much pug-related stuff that we own, literally just due to the picture of a pug on it! He also loves art, so I’m going to have to invest in the book if I don’t win, it’s ideal!
