10 Step Drawing: Dogs {book review}

Win a copy of 10 Step Drawing: Dogs

Posted on March 5, 2022March 5, 2022 by jenny

I’ve teamed up with SearchPress with a fantastic giveaway for my readers. You can win a copy of 10 Step Drawing: Dogs – Draw over 50 delightful dogs in 10 easy steps by Justine Lecouffe which we recently reviewed here.

10 Step Drawing: Dogs will help you turn simple shapes into beautiful dog drawings in just ten steps. Each drawing starts with easy, geometric shapes and simple guide lines, and the dogs are drawn in a variety of poses that typify the particular breed. Each drawing includes a helpful colour palette so readers can easily find the right colours to finish their drawing. There are even instructions for adding simple details to give each creature its own personality.

The book is divided into clear sections, showing you how to draw different types of dogs:

Faces & features – Front view head, Side view head, Eyes, Nose, Ears, Labrador Retriever, Siberian Husky, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Boston Terrier, English Springer Spaniel, Border Collie, Labradoodle, Italian Greyhound, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Chow Chow.

Dogs at rest – Front view body, Side view body, German Shepherd, Bulldog, French Bulldog, Yorkshire Terrier, Cockapoo, Rottweiler, Dachshund, Miniature Schnauzer, Pomeranian, Chihuahua, Bernese Mountain Dog, Pug, Saint Bernard, Australian Shepherd, German Shorthaired Pointer, Chinese Shar-Pei.

Dogs in motion – Doberman Pinscher, Boxer, Shih Tzu, Weimaraner, Whippet, Poodle, Basset Hound, West Highland White Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Dalmatian, Irish Wolfhound, Bull Terrier, Akita, Afghan Hound.

Dogs & puppies – Beagle, Golden Retriever, Great Dane, Corgi, Collie, Bull Terrier, Irish Setter, Cocker Spaniel.

Win a copy of 10 Step Drawing: Dogs

One reader of the gingerbread house can win a copy of 10 Step Drawing: Dogs. To enter my giveaway you must answer the question via the Rafflecopter widget below, there are some bonus entries too. The giveaway is open to those with a UK postal address only and ends on 21st March. The winners name will appear on this post. Good luck!

    A pug! Which is what I was hoping for as my son is obsessed with dogs in general, but pugs are his absolute favourite. I can’t even guess how much pug-related stuff that we own, literally just due to the picture of a pug on it! He also loves art, so I’m going to have to invest in the book if I don’t win, it’s ideal!
