Super Sour Yoyos from Bear

Twisted tastebuds with BEAR’s Super Sour Yoyos

Posted on May 25, 2017April 2, 2019 by jenny

Our family love a challenge and our latest task from BEAR was to get our tastebuds twisting with the brand new Super Sour Yoyos. We received delicious packs of BEAR Super Sour Yoyos along with our very own roulette wheel to play Super Sours Yoyos Roulette.

BEAR Yoyos are back with a twist – or should that be a zing? The new 100% pure fruit and veg snacks have been given a super twist with the tantalising addition of lemon and they are sure to tickle your little cubs tastebuds! As you would expect from BEAR, there are absolutely no hidden nasties. They are just pure fruit (and a little veg!) gently baked, with no added sugar, concentrates, gumming agents or any other nonsense.

BEAR Super Sours Yoyos

They already enjoy the normal Yoyos. They contain the same natural sugars as an apple and are packed full of natural fibre? A great way to tick off one of your five a day. I stock them as a healthy treat and they are always popped into lunch bags too.

We opened up our packs of the Super Sours Yoyos and placed them on the roulette board alongside normal BEAR Yoyos. Then the children took it in turns to spin the arrow. Wherever the arrow landed they then tried some of the Yoyo that it landed on. I didn’t know what the kids were going to make of the Super Sours Yoyos though. They aren’t hugely adventurous, but I was pleasantly surprised, as they loved them!

This was a really fun way to get them trying something new and you could easily recreate it at home if you wanted to try it with your kids. Just don’t do it before dinner time like me ☺

Super Sour Yoyos are available in three tasty new recipes: delicious Strawberry & Apple, Mango & Apple and Blackcurrant & Apple. They are available as a single pack and multipack of 5.

And if your little cubs collect the Secret Spy cards like mine do, they will be delighted to know that each pack contains brand new Secret Spy collectable cards. Collect ten ‘bearcodes’, send them off to Agent BEAR’s Spy cave and your little ones will receive a free Spy Kit from Agent BEAR.

I love sour sweets and the fact that they come with cards is so cool. I like the sound of getting a free bear kit x

Pickle loves Bear YoYos and I love them because they are natural. I am not sure what he would make of the sour ones. Kaz x

I’ve seen these adverts on TV all the time, but have yet to try them or give them to my daughter… Not sure how she would react to sour sweets, but could be funny!

My daughter loves sour sweets so when I saw these in the supermarket I snapped them up – turns out she loves them too!

I think my boy has these when we go to Subway, they are a lovely snack alternative to sweets.

My wee chap adores “Bear fruit” as he calls it. Always has one in his packed lunch for school, so he has a collection of cards in his reading packet (along with the pine cones, but that is a different story entirely). And now they come in sour. I’m not a fan of sour stuff, but my kids have always loved it. I shall have to look out for these new ones. Exciting.

I love the idea of playing the game with the Super Sour Yoyos, it will make them last longer and stop them being eaten as fast. My daughter loves sour sweets so I’m sure she’d like to try these.

I love the original ones of these – I’m going to have to look out for the new ones! They remind me of Astro belts and really taste like sweets!!
