The Handmade Fair 2017 discount code

The Handmade Fair 2017 discount code

Posted on June 22, 2017August 30, 2022 by jenny

Like many people I love to craft but find my spare time squeezed by children’s parties, play dates, swimming lessons and food shopping. Life is busy and I find myself looking wistfully at my half finished sewing project or half cut paper template.

Thankfully there are a few crafty days out which I can rely on throughout the year to keep me sane. This year I’ve already been to the Spring Knitting & Stitching Show and I’ve booked my tickets to The Handmade Fair taking place at Hampton Court between the 15th-17th September. For the last few years I’ve gone with my sister and we’ve had a great day out. Don’t forget to read to the bottom of my post for an exclusive The Handmade Fair 2017 discount code.

Tickets include a Grand Make, Skills Workshop and a Super Theater session. In 2015 we made Tibetan Poetry Bunting, Papercut Horoscopes with Poppy Chancellor and watched Annie Sloan talking to Kirstie Allsopp whilst doing a painting demo.

Last year we stitched our own felt badges, watched the Mollie Makes Mash Up with Matt Chapple vs Zeena Shah, made Confetti Crackers with Zeena Shah and squeezed in an extra workshop, making a Felt Flower Brooch.

On both days we had a great time. I enjoyed trying new crafts, meeting crafty heroes and the shopping! It’s a great way to browse new products and top up your craft supplies. I bought our Handmade Fair tickets as soon as I could as I wanted to book places on a few workshops. This year I’ll be trying my hand at making a Wooden Floral Wreath, Brush lettering, stitching a felt keyring to listening to Kirstie on the sofa with Holly Tucker, the founder of Not on the High Street.

I can’t wait to have a grown up day out and try some new crafts.
