So I’ve discovered I have no exciting photographs of creatures. It’s not that I don’t like wildlife I just don’t see much of it living in Zone 3!
I have found a lovely photograph of a robin I took at Norwood Cemetery in January 2008. I’ve always been fascinated by the Magnificent Seven: Kensal Green Cemetery – 1832, West Norwood Cemetery – 1837, Highgate Cemetery – 1839, Abney Park Cemetery – 1840, Nunhead Cemetery – 1840, Brompton Cemetery – 1840 and Tower Hamlets Cemetery – 1841.
This photograph was taken in West Norwood Cemetery after I became obsessed with finding the grave of Mrs Beeton after reading this book. Cemeteries are always full of wonderful wildlife and I can’t wait for Edward to take an interest in birds and other animals.

we have a very feisty red robin in our garden they’re such beautiful little creatures. If you travel to France try and visit the cemetries around the South – they’re stunning and beautiful.
Robins are such sweet birds…they always seem to be so friendly – lovely picture
Beautiful photo, I’ve never managed to snap one they always fly off! I’m originally a Croydon girl so lovely to see a photo of home xx
I was digging through my archives trying to find animals too. Yours is much nicer. Great photo 🙂
