My son and I were invited to the Covent Garden Build A Bear store to see for ourselves the magic that goes into building a bear. So this morning we hopped on the tube and walked out into the beautiful sunshine at Covent Garden. The staff at the Covent Garden were incredibly friendly and helpful and took us through the steps needed to build a bear.
My son eventually chose a dog, this step took ages as there were lots of animals to choose from! We decided to put a woof and a heart inside then we watched as he was stuffed and sewn up.
We were allowed to pick an outfit and chose a Darth Vader outfit, complete with light sabre – as you can see he’s already a huge Star Wars fan! Then off we went to complete the birth certificate.
Here we are with our finished dog! My little one really enjoyed the experience although I think he was a little overwhelmed with the sheer choice of furry friends and outfits. A big thank you to Build A Bear for letting us run riot in their store!
Last week I ran an insanely popular competition to win a Build A Bear party. I’m very pleased to announce the winner is Emma at MummyMummyMum. Congrats Emma and I hope you have as much fun as we did!
