The Book Club giveaway

Posted on March 12, 2012November 23, 2012 by jenny

We love reading books which is why I wanted to tell you about The Book Club. The Book Club team currently reads around 700 books a month and reviews and categorises each one to make selecting books better for parents. They have a great and informative website and I love the fact that books are categorised by age. Little Sis is just entering The Cooing Stage and I look forward to her brother entering The Explosive Stage!

Join The Book Club and you will receive:

  • weekly newsletters customised to your child’s learning age
  • over 3000 recommended books and the cheapest places to buy them
  • book ideas, language tips and games
  • build your Dream Bookshelf and save it to your profile

Giveaway:

The Book Club are generously offering one reader of the gingerbread house a TEN book package of children’s books with a retail value of £60. The books will be chosen according to the age of the winners’ child/children and The Book Club will build a package which is perfect for them.

To enter:
Simply visit www.thebookclub.co.uk and find a book which you would love to own. Post the link to the book in the comments section below and tell me why you would love it.

PLUS for additional entries:
Follow The Book Club on twitter and tweet “I want to win children’s books with @thebookclubUK and @gingerbread_mum http://the-gingerbread-house.co.uk/2012/03/12/the-book-club-giveaway/”

and/or
‘Like’ The Book Club on facebook and post the link on their wall to your favourite book with the words ‘Our favourite book – the gingerbread house recommended you’.

The Rules: the competition closes at midnight on March 30th and is open to UK residents only. If the winner does not reply within 3 days the competition will be redrawn. Good luck! The winners’ name will be announced on this blog post.

Zog is my boys’ (6 and 4) favourite book of the moment. We have one copy which they both want to read at the same time so a second copy would be great so that “Now that you’ve been shown you can practise on your own…”

I would most like this book, as my son is only 2 but already loving to learn about things and has recently ‘discovered’ dinosaurs. We read a lot together but don’t have many non-fiction books so this would fill a gap in our book collection as well as stimulating his imagination.

I would love to win the ‘Happy Baby Book with Bounce Along CD’ . Its so important for children to develop their creative skills and through music and rhymes this can be done. When listening to rhymes and music children are full of smiles while learning so much including communication, language and literacy. This book and CD meets so many developmental needs my daughter is 18 months and she would love it.
