The Book Club giveaway

We love reading books which is why I wanted to tell you about The Book Club. The Book Club team currently reads around 700 books a month and reviews and categorises each one to make selecting books better for parents. They have a great and informative website and I love the fact that books are categorised by age. Little Sis is just entering The Cooing Stage and I look forward to her brother entering The Explosive Stage!

Join The Book Club and you will receive:

Giveaway:

The Book Club are generously offering one reader of the gingerbread house a TEN book package of children’s books with a retail value of £60. The books will be chosen according to the age of the winners’ child/children and The Book Club will build a package which is perfect for them.

  4. My 3 yr old son adores books, his fave at the moment is ‘Dear Zoo’ which he chooses to read every night!! Would be great for him to have a new favorite 😉

  5. I would love to win’ Peepo’ for my little girl, it will of been read by three generations of my family and every one of us has loved it. Such a lovely illustrated book by a brilliant author. What an amazing prize ! re-tweeted !!

  7. Zog is my boys’ (6 and 4) favourite book of the moment. We have one copy which they both want to read at the same time so a second copy would be great so that “Now that you’ve been shown you can practise on your own…”

  8. I would most like this book, as my son is only 2 but already loving to learn about things and has recently ‘discovered’ dinosaurs. We read a lot together but don’t have many non-fiction books so this would fill a gap in our book collection as well as stimulating his imagination.

  10. I would love to win the ‘Happy Baby Book with Bounce Along CD’ . Its so important for children to develop their creative skills and through music and rhymes this can be done. When listening to rhymes and music children are full of smiles while learning so much including communication, language and literacy. This book and CD meets so many developmental needs my daughter is 18 months and she would love it.

  11. My daughter, currently 11mths, adores books! She will crawl past musical toys to get to her bookshelf and pull off her favourites to ‘read’. We love to sing and sign together and The Wheels on the Bus is a great song so would love a book version too 🙂

  12. My daughter loves cats and very much misses our cat who died last year, so I’m intrigued to find out how this one turns out.

  13. The Gruffalo is the one I’d pick because I’ve heard of him but don’t know the story so it would be a great one to read when I’m babysitting!

  16. Our son is picking up words at a rate of knots now so this book would be great to increase his vocabulary and improve his diction.

    I feel that this book would help me introduce my grandson another side to war that would enable us to discuss it in a useful way

  19. This is my absolute favourite. My children who are 24, 21 and 17 all loved it and now so does my grandaughter!

  20. Strangely enough, I didn’t read this book until I was an adult! Thought it was hilarious and touching, so I’d love to read it to my niece and see a child’s reaction to it.

  21. My 1 year old son would love this. Comes with an audio CD too so will drown out the sound of my voice when singing to him!!

  22. The book I would like would be Bedtme Rhymes:

    Bedtime is a relaxed time to share and enjoy rhymes and stories. I like rhymes because they explore language and sounds in a fun and lightharded way and stimulate the imagination to develop their pithy plot further.

  24. My little girl would love What The Ladybird Heard as she loves ladybirds and animals, and she loves making animal noises.

  25. My daughter’s a huge Jacqueline Wilson fan and would love to read this one (we are on the library’s waiting list!). It sounds a bit more light-hearted than some of her work.

    We have booked to take my grandaughter to see Peppa Pig at West Yorkshire Playhouse in June & would love to win this for my husband & I to read to her.

  41. I still have all my Enid Blyton books from when I was a child and have passed these on to my child who is expecting her own baby now and when they are old enough I will enjoy reading the Famous Five Go Down to The Sea, one of my favourites

  42. I would love the Princess Polly’s Potty My 18 month old daughter is a big fan of reading and I would love this book to get her prepared for potty training in the summer.

  45. i would love the gruffalos child, my daughter loved the gruffalo so i think this would be perfect. shes very clever for a two year old and loves books so i wouldnt want to waste such a talent. i think we would have lots of fun reading this together and looking at the lovely bright pictures x

  55. it is a beautiful book. the pages are all glittery and touchy feely which my daughter loves at the moment,

  56. The Monkey Puzzle because my little girl loves it but her baby brother ripped it up so we really miss reading it (even though we know the words off by heart now!)

  59. I would love this book for my 8 year old daughter. She is an avid reader (which I am very proud of :)) who is currently enjoying the first book in this series.

  62. Goldilocks…..for my 7 month old grandson….this is a book that doesn’t date…a story that has been read and read over the years and will continue to be read for many years to come.

  63. My baby has just learnt that pushing a button on one of her books makes the book sing Old McDonald. (Proud mummy moment! :)) This would be a great addition to her new skill.

  69. The Noisy Farm is a lovely interactive book for very young children, this would be brilliant for my Grand -Daughter.
