My 5 year old has quite simple tastes in toys, if it has wheels he’s generally happy. He especially loves Hot Wheels cars, and so do I, as they are pocket money-friendly. He was sent the new Hot Wheels Super Speed Blastway and a Hot Wheels tshirt from the new Zara Hot Wheels collection to review. I’ve had lots of luck charity shopping recently as my daughter and I found some boxed Sylvanian Families sets. We snapped them up and she’s been playing with them ever since. Role play is really important to help children explore their imagination and develop social skills. My children love role playing, even though they probably aren’t even aware when they are doing it. Last year we told you about Hubelino marble run sets. The pieces are 100% compatible with Lego Duplo bricks which means you can create some really fun structures. As a mum of two rambunctious kiddies I’m a big fan of CBeebies, the Bedtime Hour and In The Night Garden. This week we have been crafting with aquabeads. You may remember we tried Aquabeads last year and we were keen to try them again with Big Brother being a little older. Aquabeads join together with just a spray of water. We received the Aquabeads Alpha Set which contained over 500 beads in eight different colours, and eight letter stands.
