I decided I had to make Amy’s sticky ginger cake as the pictures looked so good. The recipe was really easy to follow and I whipped it up whilst Edward took a nap one afternoon. The top was lovely and crisp whilst the middle was gooey. The stem ginger added a bit of texture which shop bought ginger cake just doesn’t have. It was delicious but I couldn’t keep it all to myself so took it to share with the family. We’ve eaten it on it’s own as well as warmed up with some custard. Absolutely delicious – so delicious…

So I realised my blog is a bit short of gingerbread recipes so yesterday I whipped up a quick batch using my favourite never-fail recipe.
