Sometimes I really dislike the term mummy. Not when my son is endlessly shouting it at me but when it’s applied to me generically by the nurse, health visitor, midwife, GP, librarian or impersonal PRs! Now as you may know I’ve been having a good clear out lately, partly due to my excessive hoarding of clothes and because we want to move house this year. Most of my shelves were piled high with maternity and old work clothes so they’ve all been bagged up and donated to charity. Unfortunately it didn’t leave as much space as I was hoping so I will have to be a bit more ruthless. I have one shelf which I’m just not sure what to do about – the shelf of many handbags. My hubby treated me to a lovely new Orla Kiely bag so I chose the punched stem rosemary bag. Today I sneaked out of the house and headed to Covent Garden to buy it (and the matching purse too!). Image taken from Orla Kiely website. No visit to Covent Garden is complete without a visit to Cath Kidston where I purchased some lovely goodies for our holiday to Cornwall. I even managed some celeb spotting, Louie Spence from Pineapple Dance Studio, before heading back to my lovely little boy!
