Gingerbread Gift Guide 2020 I’ve been a huge fan of gingerbread for as long as I can remember. Every year I love to source gingerbread items to try out. This year I’ve picked up quite a few gingerbread house kits, gingerbread biscuits and even gingerbread mulled wine. I thought it would be fun to put them all in one place for my readers to see too. My Gingerbread Gift Guide 2020 features gingerbread ornaments, gingerbread books, necklaces, kits and more.…

Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? I’m pleased to say I’ve *almost* finished mine, and then will be spending a few evenings wrapping. This is something I quite look forward to, especially if there is a Christmas film on and I have a glass of mulled wine. My son has most definitely turned into a tween and I’ve had loads of fun shopping for him. He loves Fortnite, Minecraft and Lego so he’s pretty easy to buy for. I had fun pulling this list of 20+ gifts for tweens. I thought I’d share it in case you find it…

My 7 year old is just crazy about Harry Potter. Having grown up reading the books myself, I’m happy that she has fallen under the spell of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter too. Last month we were able to visit the special Harry Potter Wand Walk near St Paul’s Cathedral. The children loved seeing the different wands belonging to all their favourite characters. With Christmas fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to pull together a Harry Potter-inspired gift guide for kids*. I find it pretty easy to find things my children would love to open, I hope…

Have you been planning for Father’s Day which falls later this month? I love treating my husband, although I have to admit he can be a little tricky to buy for. Generally he is happy with handmade Father’s Day cards and a cup of tea in bed, which is great because, let’s be realistic, there’s little chance of a lie in at our house! This year I wanted to make Father’s Day extra special for my other half. He’s the most wonderful husband and father, he works really hard to support us all and has been going through a tricky…

He’s pretty much written his Christmas list, although when the new Star Wars film comes out I think it might change, and I thought I’d share some ideas in case you have a 7 year old and need some inspiration. Gift guide for 7 year old gamers We’re lucky to have both a PS4 and Nintendo Switch thanks to my husband who loves computer games too. I would totally…

We are a family of bookworms. We love reading, read every night with the children and enjoy discovering new authors. There seem to be so many exciting books out at the moment. I’ve been sourcing books for our Christmas Book Advent (more of that another day) and couldn’t resist sharing some new books for children aged 5-8. My youngest is starting to read to herself with a little help, whilst my 7 year old is a confident reader. I’m so excited to read some of these books with them over the coming weeks. Book gift guide for kids (age 5-8)…
