A few weeks ago we spent a few days exploring Gosport, on the south coast of Hampshire. I wanted to re-visit Porchester Castle and take the kids there so they could experience the amazing medieval fortress overlooking Portsmouth Harbour. We love half term. The freedom from the school routine is sooooo welcome! The Summer term is fun but seems super busy with the longer days and more outdoor activities! On our way home from our week in Norfolk we stopped off at the breath-taking village of Castle Acre. The other day I told you about our visit to the ruins of Castle Acre Castle which was the perfect place for my children to run off some energy.
