I love an easy after school craft activity to help my kids wind down. My 8 year old loves robots. He’s been drawing quite a few of them recently so we tried making them into 3D robots using some of our craft supplies. They turned out really well so I thought I’d share them. Earlier this month we had fun with our Duck Tape bookmarks so we thought it was time to share another Back to School craft with you. My 6 year old is starting Year 2 in a few weeks. A new school year means time to update the desk in her bedroom where she does her homework so we thought a little homemade DIY would brighten it up. She loves emojis so came up with our Emoji Pen Pots. How to make…

Last week I received my usual box of crafting supplies to take part in the March Bostik Bloggers craft challenge. The theme was Easter which is perfect as I have been itching to get started on some Spring time crafts. This month our box included the wonderful Fine & Wide Glu Pen as well as a packet of white Blu Tack, both really useful crafting products. I decided to make some little Easter treat jars for my children. They love Easter, who doesn’t with all that chocolate, so I thought some cute little bunny jars would go down well. I…

Every year we try and take the children to a Bonfire Night celebration. Bonfire Night is an important event in British history and I want my children to understand the meaning behind events such as this. We’re surrounded by sporting events at the moment which has had a great influence on our crafting. So far this year we’ve had Euro 2016, Wimbledon and the Tour de France 2016 and we’ve still got many more to come. Did you know that athletes in ancient games didn’t receive medals like they do today? Instead they received a wreath crown made of olive tree leaves, or later from the leaves of a bay laurel. I thought we should try and make our own paper version so today we’re sharing our paper plate laurel wreath craft for kids. Paper plate…
