Over the last week I’ve been testing the Britax Affinity with Little Sis as part of my role as a Britax Mumbassador. We treated ourselves to a weekend away visiting my sister on the Isle of Wight. We didn’t need beach towels but the cold weather didn’t stop us enjoying the trip and the children had an amazing time with their cousins. There was a boat trip, long pub lunches, face painting for the toddler, and some rare child-free hours for me to go charity shopping which was really lovely and much appreciated. My little 14 month old is a messy eater. She has the appetite of a sparrow and what she doesn’t eat, she gets everywhere. I felt a bit emotional yesterday. My 11 month old is growing up in leaps and bounds and I can’t help but feel happy and sad at the same time. She’s been giving us loads of problems lately – first it was off her milk completely, then off her food, then waking constantly in the night. However, in the last week or two (fingers crossed) things have improved. I’ve been having a real clear out this weekend. The pregnancy books, maternity clothes and tiny baby clothes are all bagged up for our nearest charity shop. I’m not sure if we’ll be adding to our little tribe but we can’t store many things in our little house.
