I love the start of a New Year. After a lovely Christmas and New Year I’m excited about what will happen in 2018. One thing I’ve been looking forward to is the launch of the Sylvanian Families Town range, launching in the UK in 2018.
If you’re a fan of Sylvanian Families then you’ve probably heard about the Sylvanian Families Town range. Yep, the Sylvanians are coming to the big city! Expect there to be shops, hotels, houses and trams! I follow a few Japanese sites which had the Sylvanian Families Town range in April last year. I’ve seen quite a few sets pop up on eBay and blogs, although I’ve been really restrained and not bought any – yet!
My daughter is a member of the Sylvanian Families fanclub. She’s a Premium Fan Club member and gets the quarterly newsletter as well as a birthday card. Anyone can sign up to the newsletter and yesterday it contained some very exciting news.
Sylvanian Families Town range launches in the UK in 2018
On Saturday 17th February 2018 there will be an exclusive event to reveal the brand new Sylvanian Families Town range in the UK.
You’ll be able to get your paws on the 22 new products in the Town series, plus meet the new Town characters who will be performing their brand new show for the very first time. There’s also an extra special Sylvanian Families movie premiere – we can barely wait!
There will be two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It’s for Premium Fan Club members ONLY so make sure you are signed up before Monday 8th January – tickets go on sale that day and there are only 400 available for each session, so you’ll have to be quick!
Doesn’t that sound like an exciting event? I’ve already pencilled it into the calendar and I’m really hoping it will be somewhere near so I can go with my daughter. I expect my son would love to come too! Sylvanian Families featured pretty heavily in our Christmas. As well as the homemade Sylvanian Families advent calendar I made, my 6 year old received the amazing Beechwood Hall set from Father Christmas, as well as the Country Kitchen Set and some beautiful vintage owls (her favourite animals at the moment).
wow, this product range has grown massively over the years. I remember when it was just a house and a few interior bits etc.
