Film review: Scooby Doo Spooky Games

The toddler is a sporty little thing, loves the park and his scooter so I knew he would love Scooby Doo Spooky Games. Warner Brothers kindly sent us a copy of the DVD along with some fun games for the garden. I don’t think I have ever laughed so much at my toddler trying to keep a plastic egg on a plastic spoon. We’ve also been trying to learn how to ‘catch’ and throw small bean bags which is just hilarious.

Scooby Doo Spooky Games

We’re feeling in a bit of a lull during this dead space between the end of the Olympic Games and the start of the Paralympics. Scooby Doo Spooky Games has filled the gap perfectly.

Scooby-Doo! and the gang are off to compete at the World Invitational Games. There’s no shortage of spookiness as the gang’s fun gets sidetracked when a 1,000-year-old statue comes to life and threatens the entire event!

The remainder of the DVD includes older episodes from Scooby’s All-Star Laff-A-Lympics which I remember from my younger days! We really enjoyed watching these as they included some of my favourite characters, including Captain Caveman!

This is a great DVD to add to any collection. I love the fact we can watch such timeless classics and my toddler often asks for them alongside his current favourites. The DVD is great to watch at any time of the year but will also be perfect to watch around Halloween!
