Rose Petal Cottage from DreamTown

Posted on September 4, 2015June 27, 2016 by jenny

The weather in London has been quite poor for the last few weeks of the school holidays. Instead of playing outside we have spent more time indoors than we would have liked. My lucky children have been the latest residents of DreamTown as the proud owners of Rose Petal Cottage. This traditional playhouse has been designed to inspire the excitement and imagination of role play games.

Rose Petal Cottage from DreamTown

Rose Petal Cottage from DreamTown is a beautiful indoor playhouse, built to last for years and inspire children to explore the freedom and excitement of imaginative role play. It is packed with interactive features, adorable design details and a massive dose of ‘cute-factor’.

The Rose Petal Cottage range includes Rose Petal Cottage and two coordinating accessory sets which allow little ones to create their very own home:

Rose Petal Cottage features an opening door with letter box, shuttered windows, a working shelf, mirror and a real photo frame. Rose Petal Cottage also comes with child-height play cooker made especially for little ones, with realistic features. The cottage features pretty touches including broderie anglaise trim and a strong steel frame for years of quality playtime.

Due to the weather we’ve had this in our living room for the last couple of weeks. My children watched and ‘helped’ me to build it and I have to be honest and say it was a little tricky to put up. It has a double skin which fits around the frame, giving it a more permanent look and feel than other play houses.

Both my children have enjoyed playing in the house and exploring all the different features it has. We have lots of role play toys so they have been dressing up and playing house, as well as having pretend tea parties and all sorts of adventures.

I love the attention to detail in Rose Petal Cottage. There’s a working door and window, a shelf, mirror and there’s even a photo frame where you can put your favourite photo.

Rose Petal Cottage has an RRP of £99.99 and is available from Argos and other toy suppliers. You can also purchase coordinating accessory sets including the Tea Time Set (RRP £19.99( and the Kitchen Set (RRP £44.99). It is suitable for children aged 24 months+

Hello! I recently purchased one second hand and it did not come with instructions. Do you happen to still have a copy of yours by any chance? Thank you so much in advance!
