Review: Woolly & Tig First Day DVD

The children were sent a copy of Woolly & Tig First Day on DVD to watch. They are big fans of Woolly & Tig on cBeebies so I knew they would enjoy the DVD. If you haven’t seen Woolly & Tig before then Tig is a 3 year old girl and Woolly is her toy spider. Each episode is only 5 minutes long and explores common worries, with the help of Woolly who comes to life, in a fun and positive way.

Woolly and Tig‘First Day’ contains 15 episodes. From a first day at nursery school to meeting a man with a beard, uncertainty and worry are replaced with fun and laughter when Woolly is magically animated to life. My toddler is also 3 so he finds it easy to relate to the adventures faced by Tig. As soon as he saw the cover of the DVD he wanted to watch it and really enjoyed each episode.

He’ll be starting nursery soon so I’ll be making sure he watches the episode about Tig’s first day at nursery as I’m sure it will help. We also enjoyed the Open Wide episode as the toddler recently had his first trip to the Dentist. I love the fact we can watch an episode, talk about these things and stop him worrying about new experiences.

This DVD also includes a free Woolly and Tig reward chart and stickers!
