PJ Masks Series 2 comes to Disney Junior

Posted on March 22, 2018 by jenny

Do your children love PJ Masks? Little Sis is a huge fan, Gekko is her favourite, and she even had a PJ Masks theme for her last birthday party. Today I’m sharing some exciting news – PJ Masks Series 2 is set to hit TV screens on 28th March!

Who are the PJ Masks?

Just in case you haven’t heard of the show, PJ Masks follows the exciting adventures of Connor, Amaya and Greg. They attend school like everyone else but when something goes awry in the city, filled with curiosity and a sense of justice, they get ready for their mission. As day turns to night, the heroes put their pyjamas on and activate their animal amulets. They magically transform into their dynamic superhero alter egos: Catboy, Owlette and Gekko and become the fantastic PJ Masks team. Catboy is super-fast and agile, Gekko is super strong and can scale walls while Owlette has the ability to fly and see great distances. Together, the trio embark on action packed adventures, solving mysteries while learning valuable lessons along the way.

PJ Masks Series 2 comes to Disney Junior next week

The action-packed adventures of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko, the superhero trio from Entertainment One’s (eOne) hit animated TV series, PJ Masks, are set to continue as brand new episodes from series two premiere on Disney Junior from Wednesday 28th March. Currently one of the nation’s favourite preschool shows, the new series of PJ Masks will introduce fans to all new characters as our pyjama-clad heroes are challenged with new missions that take them beyond the city and onto big new adventures!

PJ Masks puzzle

Both my children adore PJ Masks so were excited to be sent a bundle of lovely PJ Masks products, to help them enjoy watching two episodes from the new series at home. Yep, we have been watching Moonfizzle Balls and Soccer Ninjalinos (over and over again!). I set everything up so we could have a little viewing party when they got home from school today. We received Partywear to decorate and create that party feel and a 3D Character Mask so that your little one can be a superhero too. Little Sis already had a Gekko costume which she immediately wanted to put on. The PJ Masks Inflatable Chair was hugely popular, as was the Catboy Car Shaped Duvet. We used the pillow so they both had something to sit on whilst they watched the new episodes. There was also a PJ Masks Blind Bag (we got Owlette!), a Carry Along Art Case, a 60 pc Glow in the Dark Puzzle and a Stamp, Sticker and Play Set! There were so many lovely goodies that we will be having lots of PJ Masks fun at home for a while.

The first episodes of the new season will be:

Wednesday 28th March at 4.30pm
Moonfizzle Balls – Catboy works a bit too fast to kick back Luna Girl’s moonfizzle balls, and Gekko and Owlette can’t keep up.
Soccer Ninjalinos – Owlette learns that being part of the team means coaching Catboy and Gekko to defeat Night Ninja, who has trained his Ninjalinos in kung-Fu football.

Wednesday 4th April at 4.45pm
Lionel-Saurus – Through a Romeo invention, Gekko’s pet, Lionel, becomes a huge monster wreaking havoc throughout the city. Owlette and Catboy want Gekko to treat Lionel-zilla like a monster, but Gekko knows that Lionel is still his pet no matter how big.

Wednesday 11th April at 4.45pm
Catboy’s Cuddly – Catboy confesses that he has a cuddly toy to Owlette and Gekko, as they thwart the evil plan to chance all the cuddly toys to look like Romeo!

Wednesday 18th April at 4.45pm
Terrible Two-Some – Romeo is turning everyone into babies and Gekko has to baby- sit his two team-mates Kitty Boy and Chiclet and save the world.

For a whole lot more PJ Masks hero power, tune in to Disney Junior at 4.30pm on Wednesday 28th March and every following Wednesday at 4.45pm to see the brand-new episodes.

I love how Disney have branched out and aren’t just all princesses and cute stories now. This series sounds like great fun!

We have only recently discovered PJ Masks, so a new series sounds very welcome 🙂
