A few weeks ago we attended a special screening of the Peter Rabbit movie which we all really enjoyed. Before the screening the children enjoyed some Peter Rabbit inspired crafting and I thought it would be fun to continue this at home with our Peter Rabbit inspired carrot sun catchers.

How to make Peter Rabbit inspired carrot sun catchers
First of all I drew a large carrot shape on a piece of A4 white card. There was space for another carrot so I drew another in case we wanted to cut them out and make them into carrot bunting later on.
I cut out the inside of the carrot using my craft knife and cutting mat. My son chose orange and green cellophane sheets and cut them into small pieces.
I covered one side of the white card with contact paper so my son could fill in the carrot with the cellophane pieces.
I think these may be our first vegetable inspired sun catchers! Are you planning on going to watch the Peter Rabbit film? We loved it and can’t wait to see it again when it comes out next month. So far we have made three Peter Rabbit inspired carrot sun catchers. A few more and we will definitely have enough to hang up!
