I can’t believe Easter is only a few days away. Although I’ve been planning everything for weeks it now seems to have snuck up on me. We have lots of chocolate, have planned some delicious meals (hopefully we can buy everything we need), and of course, our annual Easter Egg Hunt!
A lot of our decorations are handmade and I love seeing them each year. This year I’ve added some personalised wooden bunny egg holders to our Easter decorations.
Personalised wooden bunny egg holders
I bought the wooden blanks online, each one has a hole in its tummy, big enough to hold a creme egg!
I bought 5 blanks as we were due to spend Easter with my mum. I chose two small tester pots of paint in lovely pastel colours and gave each a couple of coats of paint.
The mdf soaked up the paint but I managed to paint them whilst the children were at school a few weeks ago.
My children love anything with their names on so I knew I wanted to personalise their bunnies. I used my Cricut Maker and small scraps of vinyl to cut their names. I applied the name to each bunny, across their right ear so it would be obvious which bunny belonged to whom. I thought these could also double as great place-holders on our Easter table.
The finished look is just perfect and I love our family of personalised wooden bunny egg holders! These were great value and will definitely spark some joy this Easter.
