Wedding plans

Posted on April 13, 2008 by jenny

We are spending a couple of sunny days in Devon visiting some family. We haven’t spent too much time talking about our wedding although I have been showing off my lovely ring. However, my three year old neice is very excited and has it all planned for us. She said “Auntie Jenny and Uncle Robin…

Aunty Cookie 'In The Garden' goodness

Posted on April 9, 2008September 7, 2025 by jenny

In The Garden fabric panel, originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. How could I resist this lovely fabric panel in Aunty Cookie’s etsy shop? While I was browsing I also picked up some lovely Chatterbox Cookies red linen trim and patches for applique. They look so good I’m almost afraid to use them.

New inspiration

Posted on April 1, 2008July 20, 2020 by jenny

I received some lovely late birthday presents yesterday. The quilt books had been on my Amazon wishlist for a while. I joined round 3 of the doll quilt swap and am looking for inspiration. I can’t wait to make something from the softies kit, the pattern cards are so beautifully put together. I love the…

Today I received a parcel from Kristin as part of the coaster swap hosted by Amy. I almost couldn’t open the parcel as the packaging was so pretty! They are made with embroidery and wool felt and the design is so striking. Thanks Kristin!

New Orla Kiely range

Posted on March 25, 2008May 20, 2012 by jenny

I was lucky enough to receive a travel journal from the new Orla Kiely range for my birthday. It’s the car print which matches one of my favourite handbags. The journal contains a combination of papers – ruled, graph and blank, as well as a variety of colourful stickers. Don’t they look great together?

D-3 Jason’s Jacks

Posted on March 24, 2008January 31, 2019 by jenny

Today I finished D-3 Jason’s Jacks using a lovely bright fabric from Aunty Cookie. We spent Easter on the Isle of Wight where I scoured the local charity shops and picked up some lovely vintage toys. The weather was bizarre, sometimes sunny and warm, but also windy with snow, sleet and hail. We braved Ryde…
