our wedding rings

Posted on September 28, 2008 by jenny

our wedding rings, originally uploaded by Jennifer Young. I’m pleased to say I managed to walk unaided (apart from the arm of my cousin) down the aisle on Saturday. The day went really well, the weather was AMAZING and I was only 10 minutes late for the Church! We’re off on honeymoon to Scandinavia for…

Craftiness returns

Posted on September 23, 2008October 20, 2024 by jenny

I thought my crafting mojo had well and truly left me over the last few months what with wedding preparations and my toe injury. As Lottie commented, sick leave = crafting time but I haven’t felt like making anything, until today. I read about the free Black Apple Doll months ago but thought I would…

The joy of being at home resting my foot means that I am ready to pounce on the postman before he has a chance to take parcels back to the depot. Today I received a lovely parcel from Sam as I was the lucky winner of her recent blogiversary giveaway. She sent me a beautiful…

We wandered past Heal’s yesterday and were surprised to see several Orla Kiely prints hanging outside Heal’s on Tottenham Court Road. According to Heal’s “Orla Kiely has created a…

Robots galore

Posted on September 4, 2008June 2, 2025 by jenny

I received a wonderful swap package from Claire as part of the Robot swap. She made three little robots out of the softest fabric you can imagine. Here they are sitting on my vintage bureau. They remind me of weebles – you must remember them – “weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!” Thanks Claire….

Another swap finished

Posted on September 2, 2008 by jenny

I’ve spent the last few evenings putting the finishing touches to my swap parcel for the robot swap. It was so wonderful to think about something other than our wedding… Here is a little taster of what will be sent on its way to my swap partner tomorrow.

Posted on August 7, 2008April 25, 2012 by jenny

I saw this advertised recently, isn’t it lovely? It’s a new reusable water bottle designed by Orla Kiely for Brita. We’ve been Brita converts for a while so I can’t wait to get my hands on one! My favourite stem print too! They’re launched soon, to find out more check out the brita website
