Ages ago I came across a cute tutorial to make these elf clogs and it has taken my years to actually make them. However this weekend we were off to visit an aunt and I always make her something for Christmas. So I thought it was time I tackled this little project. Then I was having so much fun I made a couple of them, stuffed them with chocolate and hand delivered them to my aunt. I hope she likes them 🙂

I’m not sure how seasonal penguins really are but that didn’t stop me making these: Cute, aren’t they? Made from a make-your-own kit from paper and string. I love the kits she makes! Sarah, please make some more!

I made these adorable reindeer from a kit bought from Sarah at Paper and String. There were so simple to make and will look great on the Christmas tree – as long as I can keep the kittens away from them!

Continuing the theme of Christmas then, as we’ve decided it’s not too early to mention it… I made a lovely ornament using this tutorial from the Orange Flower: Sketchbook blog. What do you think? I hope my swap partner likes it 🙂

No? Good. A couple of weeks ago I made some cute felt ornaments for a swap. They were originally flat but looked rubbish so I added some filling:

I’m having a bit of a clear out so if you fancy some vintage Cath Kidston tins or Orla Kiely mugs, take a look….

I discovered this amazing quilt tonight, it’s called Lilly Pilly, and more about it can be found here. It’s part of a blog giveaway and–as much as I’d love to win this myself–how could I not share the opportunity?!

I love Ugly Betty and this trailer made me laugh!
