I bought some gingerbread puddles from Hotel Chocolat and, although they taste delicious on their own, thought I would use them in baking. This was a good excuse to try out the classic cupcake recipe from the Primrose Bakery but make my own buttercream using the gingerbread puddles. As a stay at home mum I never thought we would be able to afford the luxury of nursery sessions for Edward. One of our biggest expenses is nappies. We’ve always used the same brand as they are reliable and work for us. There’s something exciting about new shoes and Edward feels the same way. Last week we were invited to our local Clarks store so Edward could choose a pair of new shoes from the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. His feet were measured and I was surprised that his feet had grown a whole size. As a size 7H he needed the widest fitting which unfortunately limited our choice to just two pairs in stock.
