Role play is really important to help children explore their imagination and develop social skills. My children love role playing, even though they probably aren’t even aware when they are doing it. The children have an indoor and outdoor kitchen and they can spend hours taking orders for food, preparing food, serving it, taking money and doing the washing up. I’ve always hoped my children would been keen to collect Schleich toys. They’re a great heritage brand and represent excellent quality and value to me as a parent. Over the Bank Holiday weekend we visited Nickelodeon Land at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. We stayed in the wonderful Big Blue Hotel which gave us easy and early access to the Pleasure Beach. The children had amazing built in bunk beds with their own tv screens so were pretty happy. One of the 10 rollercoasters went past our window so they couldn’t wait to get in to the park the next day. As you know I’m a Miffy Mum and we’ve been having so much fun incorporating Miffy into our every day crafting. The only thing we hadn’t tried yet was Miffy play dough so I made some. Although Miffy is white she lives in a colourful world. I think part of the appeal of Miffy is the colourful world she lives in so I made orange play dough using my usual play dough recipe. Monday again? So soon? – Over the weekend the kids met their favourite Nick Jr characters in Nickelodeon Land at the Pleasure Beach in Blackpool. Last year we told you about Hubelino marble run sets. The pieces are 100% compatible with Lego Duplo bricks which means you can create some really fun structures. This year we were sent two fun extension sets which means my children can have even more fun.
