Our Stokke obsession

Just before we were about to start weaning Edward we looked around for a highchair. We wanted something a bit different whilst being practical and affordable. We decided on a Stokke Tripp Trapp but could only find two suppliers in London – Harrods or Born! Luckily Born is based near us in Stoke Newington so we went to view the Tripp Trapp and pick a colour.

It was easy to assemble and with the Baby set conversion kit Edward has happily used his Tripp Trapp for the last few months.

As Edward has grown he has used the footplate to try and stand up so we’ve moved it down a notch, although this hasn’t stopped him using the metal bar to flex his leg muscles!

It’s the perfect height to enable Edward to sit with us at the dinner table.

The Tripp Trapp can also be used for activities other than eating!

Recently Stokke announced a new born seat attachment which can be used from birth. We saw an example at The Baby Show and I wish they were around a few months earlier as it would have been lovely to have had Edward nearer us at the table at mealtimes.
