Our perfect day at Center Parcs

We didn’t have a proper holiday last year as all our money went on moving house. So this year my challenge is to be lucky and win a short stay at Center Parcs by winning the Center Parcs and Tots 100 January challenge. Nothing like a little positive thinking, right?

I like to think we are a family who love a challenge. We try to pack as much as possible into the weekends (as we’re already a slave to nursery Monday to Friday). As much as my children love attending nursery they really come alive when they are unleashed and let loose.

playing outside

If we were lucky enough to win a short break I would have my fingers crossed for good weather. We wouldn’t want to be sitting around and putting our feet up! My children love to be outdoors and we are in desperate need of getting outside in the fresh air and trying some new activities as a family.

Center Parcs would be our perfect escape and I think my children are just the right age to participate in some of the organised activities. Nursery is helping their confidence grow and I would love to see them take part in some of the creative activities Center Parcs offer such as messy play or fun pots with tots. Then it would be off to the children’s play area for Little Sis whilst her older brother tried the balance bikes, hopefully us grown ups could enjoy a ride on a Segway before some pancakes for lunch. Then it would be Aqua Zumba for me, clay shooting for my husband whilst the children tried a swimming lesson. Hopefully we could squeeze in a game of 10 pin bowling before dinner and then a show before bed. Phew! Fingers crossed that would be one day when my son would be so tired I wouldn’t have to argue with him about going to bed.

I love to see my children challenge themselves and try new things. Often Little Sis can be fearless which really pushes her older brother, it’s great to see how happy he is when he achieves something new. This is my entry to the Center Parcs and Tots 100 January challenge. If I’m chosen, I would like to visit Longleat Forest,  Warminster, Wiltshire. If I don’t win, then I guess I’ll start saving for a family adventure!

  1. Good luck! We had a great time when we went. We packed so much into our week that we all needed a long rest when we got home. There is loads to do!x

  2. I really have my fingers crossed for you to win this. I too love being outdoors, although I don’t ge toutdoors nearly as often as I should. I’ve never been to Center Parcs but it sounds fun.
