Our Easter Egg Hunt Easter bonnet

This is the second year we’ve decorated an Easter bonnet. My daughter takes part in a fun Easter parade at her nursery, they all wear their decorated hats and do a little catwalk show.

The shops are full of ribbons, little chicks, pastel shades of tissue paper and Easter bonnets. I thought I would get both of my children involved in decorating and we gathered a great haul from The Works.

The Works’ Easter crafting range includes bonnets, chicks, tissue paper, rabbit stickers, seasonal ribbons, hanging Easter decorations and much more and prices start from just £1.

I put two animal signs together to make the hat band, and added some card Easter eggs to decorate the brim along with some colourful flowers.

This April, The Works is launching an egg-citing hunt for ‘The Works’ Easter Bonnet Star Creator’, which will be judged by a surprise guest. The winner will receive a £100 gift card to spend in store, and their creation will also front all 2016 Easter signage and leaflets. More information on the The Works’ Easter bonnet competition can be found on their website.

  1. That is the cutest bonnet! I’ve never made one before (they’re not a big thing in Spain) but I think it’s SUCH an adorable tradition 😀 xx
