Orla Kiely at the touch of a button

I was pretty excited to discover an Orla Kiely iPhone app has just been launched, it looks great on my iPad too. I’m a huge fan of her designs but haven’t bought anything new for ages due to a severe lack of money. Anyway, the app is free which means I can keep up to date with her latest collections from the comfort of my own home.

Just in case you haven’t heard of her before, Orla Kiely is an Irish fashion designer based in London. From a small collection of handbags and accessories, Orla Kiely has become a true lifestyle label offering a full collection of Ready To Wear, home furnishing, kitchenware and garden.

From the home screen you can easily navigate to the latest lookbooks and collections, shops, gift ideas and Orla’s choice. The bar at the bottom of the app also has links to shop, a wish list and your shopping cart.

My husband has promised to buy me a new bag as he’s recently started a new job. Thanks to the app I now have a shortlist, top of my list is a gorgeous Giant Linear Stem Print Backpack which is perfect for my lifestyle. Fortunately it is easy for us to get to her Covent Garden store so I hope to be showing off my new bag soon.
