Orla Kiely beauty haul

Posted on March 29, 2016March 4, 2019 by jenny

A couple of weeks ago I picked up some lovely Orla Kiely items in Boots and I’ve been wanting to share them here for a while. Since we’re away for a few days and I’ve been using them all, I thought it was a good opportunity to tell you about them.

I love Orla Kiely patterns and designs. I got my first Orla Kiely handbag in 2004 (I think!) and have enjoyed watching her bring out new product lines and patterns ever since. I can’t usually afford more than a handbag but I got really excited about her beauty range available in Boots. It’s been on sale for a few weeks now and I treated myself to a few items.

The first product I bought was the sage and lavender travel kit. I’d already bought myself a tube of the Orla Kiely sage and lavender hand cream so loved the smell.

The travel kit comes in a lovely re-useable bag containing 1 x 75ml body mist, 1 x 75ml body milk, 1 x 75ml shower gel and 1 x 75ml hand lotion. The products are infused with sage and lavender essential oils which means they smell amazing. I find lavender great for relaxing and this is a lovely combination. Travel products are a useful size for a week away and I’m already tempted to buy the larger versions of these.

I have the driest hands so own a lot of hand creams. They are in every drawer at home and I always keep one in my handbag and in my car too. I already own the sage and lavender hand cream which is lovely. I find it slightly greasy but I don’t mind as my skin in so dry. The orange and caraway intense hand balm has quite a strong smell and gorgeous packaging, as you would expect!

When I picked these up at Boots there was a great offer on, but 2 items and get a free limited edition drawstring bag. I loved the print and this probably persuaded me to buy some products!

The washbag is a decent size, it’s currently holding the family’s bathroom products for our week away. It has a waterproof lining and the pattern is vibrant and colourful.

The Orla Kiely sage and lavender travel kit was £15 (but is currently on offer for £7.50!). The Orla Kiely orange and caraway intense hand balm was £10. The limited edition drawstring bag was free with these purchases.

Have you tried any of these products? Have you seen there’s a new range of Orla Kiely jewellery available on her website? I’m so tempted by the stem print rings…..
