Have you heard of Cuddledry? It was set up in 2007 by two mums – Helen and Polly – after much faffing about cutting up sheets and playing with pretend babies. Helen and Polly went on Dragons’ Den, were offered money, but turned it down. Since then, they have done a fantastic job of building the company up from scratch, and are now a small team of women, all working from home flexibly round their families. The brand has grown from their fantastic towels (we have one!) to bathrobes, poncho towels and very cool looking bath mats.
Cuddledry are up for a Tommy’s Baby Friendly Awards in the Best Nursery Brand category. Now we genuinely love our giraffe print towel, use it at every bath time and even take it to the swimming pool with us. So I have no hesitation in urging you to vote for them. They are up against some well established brands like Mothercare and Avent and this is a great opportunity to prove that small, mummy-run businesses like Cuddledry CAN hold their own against the big boys.
Please take a couple of minutes to vote for Cuddledry as voting closes on 21st February. Cuddledry have a great online presence and can be found on twitter and Facebook and their website. You can vote for Cuddledry on the Tommy’s website and voting enters you into a draw to win a holiday too. So what are you waiting for – vote for the mummies!
