My messy eater

My little 14 month old is a messy eater. She has the appetite of a sparrow and what she doesn’t eat, she gets everywhere. This morning it was porridge rubbed in her hair and I can’t even write about the things that fall out of her nappy everytime I change her.

She was sent some OXO tot products from their feeding range, and whilst they didn’t stop the mess, they did make mealtimes more fun for her.

We tried the OXO tot divided plate, feeding spoon and sippy cut with handles. She took to all the items straight away!

The divided plate is brilliant for mealtimes as there are 3 sections which is great for portion control, and we especially love the little centre tray for sauces! The only problem we had was with the outer ring. It’s removeable (which means it can be removed when your child has mastered feeding themselves) but we found it too loose.

The feeding spoons are a great size for little hands. Made from soft silicon, this means they are soft on her poor gums and as they are quite shallow, they can’t be overloaded with food. The cup was a big hit too. The chunky handles are easy to grip and the dimple in the lid means plenty of room for little noses!

OXO tot make lots of products that make everyday living easier – we certainly think so!
