homestyle Monday Happy List

Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

cupcakes to celebrate #TheStarMovie

Happy Monday everyone, time for me to sit down and write my favourite Monday mindfulness post, focussing on the 5 happy things from the previous week. Last week was busy but good so it was a struggle to make a short list!

Monday mindfulness – 5 happy things

On Monday my daughter was invested into Beavers. I’m sad she gave up on Rainbows but I’m really hoping she’ll stick with Beavers (especially now I’ve bought the uniform and sewn on her badges!). The programme is really well structured and incentivises the children so I’m hopeful she will be as happy as her brother is. On Friday they both went along to the annual Beaver quiz and came Second!

On Tuesday I popped into the West End for the Argos/Sainsburys SS18 Press Show. I love seeing what is coming in homestyle and interiors and loved both the Argos and Sainsburys collection. There were a few Mother’s Day and Easter products to look forward to. I had time  to mooch around the West End and came home via HEMA which is my favourite shop (after Flying Tiger!). I visited the Euston Branch but am excited to visit their new store on Tottenham Court Road next time I am in town.

On Friday we received a lovely delivery of some yummy cupcakes to celebrate the release of The Star Movie which is a re-telling of the Nativity. I can’t wait to go and watch this with the children.

Over the weekend we went and watched Tall Stories’ The Gruffalo’s Child at The Lyric Theatre which was brilliant (review here) and we had the usual round of birthday parties to go to.

My 7 year old lost his third tooth – it was wobbly for a long time so I’m glad it’s out. The naughty Tooth Fairy forgot to leave £1 so we had to sneak it into his room the next day.

Have a great week everyone.
