Monday Happy Things {Week 395}

Posted on May 9, 2022 by jenny

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 395}

I love a four day working week! It went super quickly and was pretty busy. We have a house full of Star Wars fans so baked some special Jar Jar Binks shortbread biscuits for Star Wars Day!

Have you seen the latest Lego minifigure series? It celebrates The Muppets and being a child of the 80s I just had to collect them. The special limited-edition range includes Animal, Beaker, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Janice, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Rowlf the Dog, Statler, The Swedish Chef and Waldorf.

I’ve had a burst of crafting this weekend and embroidered and stitched the pretty glasses case from the Spring Craftpod box. I pulled out all my red, white and blue fabrics for some Jubilee crafting and stitched my little pup a bandana to wear over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.

My daughter had a parkour lesson in central London! I didn’t even know this was a thing but she had so much fun, and only came home with a few scratches and bumps.

I finished Selling Sunsets and watched The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, yes I enjoy a wide range of shows! We also took the kids to see Sonic The Hedgehog 2 which was really good.

Have a great week!

    I can’t wait to see the new sonic movie. Loved the first one. And the lego minifigures sounds fab, I haven’t seen these ones yet

    Selling sunsets was so much fun this season, sometimes you just need a bit of trash. A parkour session sounds like fun x
