Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.
Monday Happy Things {Week 391}
It doesn’t feel like too long since half term but we’ve already had a week of the Easter holidays. My daughter has been at sports camp all week and had a great time.
There has been plenty of time for baking. My son made the most delicious cheese scones, my daughter made toblerone brownies, and we spent the weekend decorating gingerbread Easter eggs and an Easter themed gingerbread house.
We’ve had a few days out and enjoyed some Easter adventures in nature at Hughenden. We love our National Trust membership and always have a great time when we visit Hughenden. The weather was warm and sunny which was perfect for following the Easter trail around the gardens. Little Sis was rewarded with a delicious chocolate egg at the end of the trail, as well as a runner bean seed to plant when we got home.
I’ve been crafting with the kids and we’ve had fun experimenting with skittles to make Easter eggs and planet earth to celebrate Earth Day later this month. We’ve also been planting lots of seeds from the latest Mud and Bloom box – the kitchen window sill is full!
I’ve made some sweet Liberty scrap Easter egg decorations to hang up over Easter. I finished the cute felt lamb from the Spring Craftpod subscription box and I can’t wait to start the next project. I stitched it over the weekend whilst we watched The Hunt for the Crypto King on Netflix. It was really good.
Have a great week!
