Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 388}

Last week was insanely busy for all of us. My son went to an Orchestras 4 All workshop in London which he really enjoyed. He only joined the orchestra this year but it has really improved his playing.

There was plenty of time to craft and I really enjoyed stitching the Blackbird’s nest appliqué project. The kit was from a previous Spring Craftpod box, I’m trying to work my way through some of my old projects and this was a great one for Spring. We’ve had so many birds in our garden over the last week, including some beautiful blackbirds.

My crafting mojo definitely came back last week and I got my Cricut machine out. I’m really looking forward to the release of Bridgerton Season 2 on Netflix on Friday 25th March and it inspired my crafting. I made some fun Bridgerton inspired crafts and I can’t wait to share them. Anyone else re-watching Season 1 this week?

My son turned 12! He chose a Star Wars Clone Trooper cake and an afternoon at the D20 Board Game Cafe in Watford. We managed to play a lot of games whilst enjoying lunch and milkshakes.

Over the weekend I took part in an online Hobbycraft workshop to stitch a Bridgerton inspired embroidery hoop. I really enjoyed the lesson and learned some new stitches. Hopefully I will have time to finish this hoop this week.
