Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.
Monday Happy Things {Week 384}
I’m not a massive fan of Valentine’s Day but it’s always fun to exchange cards. This year my husband gave me a covid themed card and a gorgeous Orla Kiely jigsaw puzzle.
We had a great few days away exploring Hastings, Pevensey and Bexhill on Sea. On the way back we stopped off to visit the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway and took a ride from Romney to Dungeness. It was a pretty ride along the coast and we ticked another thing off our 2022 bucket list.
There was plenty of time for crafting thanks to the stormy weather. I loved the latest Hoop Club by Cotton Clara box (Box 17!) and I enjoyed the bargello pin cushion kit. I also stitched the Scamp embroidery from Box 16 which was a collaboration with Donna Wilson.
Over the weekend we went back to Silverstone. We had a fantastic time on the Lap of Lights experience and my husband wanted to visit the Silverstone Interactive Museum. We had a great time and learned all about Silverstone and the history of Formula 1.
Have a great week everyone!
