Monday Happy Things {Week 378}

Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List  is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to write.

Monday Happy Things {Week 378}

We started our week with a trip to Christmas at Kew at Kew Gardens. Our trip last year was cancelled due to the pandemic and we were really excited to make it this year. The lights were amazing and we spent hours looking at them all. There was plenty of good food to enjoy too, we loved the churros!

Sadly it was then time to go back to work and school the following day. We managed to put the Christmas decorations away and did a lot of tidying, as well as baking gingerbread biscuits.

I finished embroidering a sweet felt gingerbread house. I didn’t have as much time for stitching as I had hoped but this was fun to make.

Over the weekend we enjoyed an amazing takeaway from The English Indian. They have a pop up at the local pub and the food is so good.

We also had a lovely walk around Rickmansworth Aquadrome. We decided to buy a Mud Daddy to hose the dog down as he gets so muddy at this time of year. We made sure to fill it with warm water and it was fun giving him a shower after our walk.

Have a great week!
